Show Customers You Care

Relationships require two things: time and a willingness to listen. This is true no matter what kind of relationship you’re nurturing. A few other important lessons I’ve learned that work as well in personal life as with colleagues and customers:

  • Consistently show your appreciation. Don’t take loyalty for granted.

  • Focus your time and energy on those who share your values.

  • Take care of yourself so you can be of better service to others.

  • Mistakes will be made. Own them; learn from them; move on.

  • Don’t get too attached to one way of doing things. Experiment and be open to new discoveries.
